Saaquib leads the talent function at Blume where he is responsible to help our portfolio companies build great teams.
Prior to Blume, he was leading business recruitment at Rippling, where he helped scale Rippling India by 4x in 1.5 years. Prior to that, Saaquib spent over three years at Revolut, Europe's largest fintech, where he was the Head of India Recruitment.
Before transitioning to an in-house talent role, he worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Michael Page specialising in CXO and mid-senior level hiring for clients across financial services. Saaquib started his career at HDFC Bank, where he worked for over three years as a Product Manager.
In addition to his corporate roles, Saaquib is also a proud Founding Member of The Talent Deck (TTD), a community-driven platform for People Success and Talent Acquisition professionals.
Saaquib holds an MBA in Finance from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research.
Beyond work, he enjoys playing, reading, & writing about sports and is a football buff (a die-hard Manchester United fan). Saaquib enjoys swimming, beaches, and reading. He is a father to 2 lovely kids, Zainab & Mohammed Meesum.
