Blume Ventures, a venture capital firm that has backed unicorns such as Unacademy, Slice, Purplle, Spinny, and others, recently announced its inaugural fund. Its extension Fund IA, has received five times the capital invested so far. This capital is projected to realize six times the gross returns by the time it reaches the end of its lifecycle in 2024. The firm, established in 2010 by Karthik Reddy and Sanjay Nath, aimed to fill a void in seed-stage funding for startups.
